    Default Really late Christmas Present.

I pieced a quilt for my husband at Christmas, but it took me until Valentine’s Day to finish it. One of his primary hobbies is playing guitar. In fact he is playing it now. I thought this fabric would be great for a quilt for him. Music note backing is from Hobby Lobby. The main fabric is from Mary Jo’s Cloth Store in Gastonia, NC. The pattern is Shenandoah that I found on line. I printed out a picture of it, and gave him the dimensions of the quilt I wanted to make, and asked him to figure out how wide each stripe should be. He did. He also taught Math, Algebra, and Calculus for 30 years. He designed his own quilt without knowing it. The first two pictures are full shots of the
quilt, The last two are close ups.

I just reminded him that he designed his own quilt. He did not recognize it until I mentioned it.

How very nice. I like a man that can do math and play guitar! What fun it must have been to tell him.
like your choice of fabrics for this one.
