This is sort of a memory quilt. I created this rag quilt from my great grandson's receiving blankets. The raggedy heart appliques are cut from scraps left over from other projects. Lady bugs, frogs reading, characters from CARS. I'll include it in his Christmas things. It is snuggly and warm and a super fast project. I know it will be used up and that is exactly what I wish for the quilts I gift to the ones I love. His daddy is my grandson and he and his wife really like my quilts. In fact I have used paper pieced blocks to patch their jeans and they wear them all the time.

Susan, My avatar is a log cabit variation. Here is a link to more info. It was super easy, my middle name:oops: Just a different way to lay it out. Thanks for looking.
