I've been watching for a while and tried my hand at a few things over the last couple of months. May need more than one post to do them.
I want to thank all of you for your help and tips that I have picked up - I came back to the board a bunch of times when I had questions!
Nothing is perfect, but I think they'll all be appreciated.

    Feedback is appreciated!

    Christmas potholders, from my stash.

My favourites! Much better with the solid on the edges.

    xstitch bookmarks started

bookmarks for the boys and girls. You can see they've still got 'tails' not trimmed. The ribbons worked much better than the binding, though.

Dalmations for my 3yo dgd who is crazy about them. All stretchy fabrics though, that unraveled like crazy and were awful to work with. She will love it though. The FMQ is full of hearts but you can't see them in the pics.

Pandas on the back. It's not really wavy in real life, honest! Won't use those fabrics again though LOL

    Thank you.

Yes, very glad I joined, I'm learning lots. I can see lots of ...um... design features (ya, that's it) in my work but it's passable at least! And I'm proud of it regardless...just will work on those "features" for the next one.

If only I can stay off the computer long enough!
