This is what I did with an old kimino and the pattern from McCall's Quilting June 2006.

This is my project using the paper piece pattern in Mccall's quilting mag for June 2006. I used an old kimino a friend gave me.
It was a lot of fun and I'm ready for another on using some of the fabric bought out in town.

I really like your quilt. I love kimono fabrics, and I like that you let it continue to live its life as a kimono. That was its destiny.

Very nice! Where does one find an old kimono? I don't think I have ever seen one. I love that you used yours in a kimono wallhanging.

We are stationed in Yokosuka, Japan with the Navy. I have met a lady who has been here 6 years and she has many Japanese friends. This was one of the kiminos she has had given to her.
Sometimes you can find them here in the recycle shops but not very often.
