I'm with Patsy. I would love to see a tutorial with this phone book technique. BTW I love your colors too! This is a beautiful flashy cheerful quilt. I am sure Monica is going to love it! I have several project you could finish for ME now!

Back Side of phone Book pages..maybe this will help
I too am a visual learner. I have to have some things read to me as I close my eyes and watch it happen. Sometimes it can be very frustrating. A Visual is always welcome. =)
To answer a question about the ink..my hands did get a little dirty as I took the paper off but I didn't see any on the fabric. I will say though that this is probably not a project for light colored fabric like..white ~ if my hands are to be believed. I did iron the paper and there was no transfer..I even starched a seam and still no ink transfer. I wouldn't recommend starch though as it makes the paper warp.
