What a fabulous idea!! And the kitty matches it beautifully--I've always loved blue and gray together. :D

My son has never worn button up shirts--just t-shirts he gets greasy because he never remembers to change before diving under a car hood.

The blue and brown nine patches plus brown sashing really look great with all of those plaids. You're going to be a popular mom after this one, I'm sure there will be requests!

That is wonderful. What a great use of fabric. We quilters can't stand to part with any fabric. We just find ways to make it beautiful and useful again. :)

That is one beautiful quilt. Would have loved to watch them fighting over it.

Your quilt it gorgeous. Can I say that about a manly quilt? Your son chose just the right combination of plaids in just the right colors and the colors you added are perfect. I love this quilt. Thanks for sharing.

This quilt is terrific. I would never have thought of doing that with the old shirts. I am so glad you shared this with all of us.

    Happy New Year,
    Cheryl
