Default Recycled shirts Pineapple quilt started

I have been collecting cotton plaid shirts from Goodwill and Salvation Army for over a year. My shirt shelf was full so it was time to begin a project. I didn't have enough light shirts, so I had to add some lights from my fabric stash. I have been cutting for a week. I have 5 blocks completed out of the 56 I have planned for this quilt. I love scrappy and I'm liking the outcome so far. I will post again when it is complete.

I am in awe of your creativity! Superb pattern for those fabrics! How did you decide what sizes to cut your fabric? Did you have this pattern in mind when you were cutting shirts?

It's going to be wonderful. Love the cozy plaids and toasty look of the blocks. Can appreciate all the work you went through to get the shirts to a usable state (washing, pressing, cutting down).
