    Default Recycling a goodies tin

I was desperately looking for a container to mail some fudge today to my brother's family, and none of my new "glad ware" thingies were the right size for the mailing boxes I had on hand. There was, however, a nice red tin...but the lid was printed with its previous contents.

My solution was to find a Christmas design in an old QNM, enlarge it, and make a quick, small quiltlet to glue on the lid. This only took me about an hour last night (well, early this morning, to be accurate).

My first time to post photos. Hope this works.

How did you finish the edges? Did you glue it on? Questions, questions. Love this idea and have the perfect tin to use it on.
