    Nice job Mel!!! pretty choice of fabric, and the colors are awesome! I think your border should be simple, elegant, and just allow the quilt to find an "end" so to speak. Stick with the darker colors in the quilt, and put a black binding on it. That's my two cents.

    Mel...its fabulous!!! Wow!! Jaw dropping pretty!! I don't usually love the bargellos...but you might have just changed my mind. I would definetly find the wall space. I agree with Esq's take on the borders/binding too...let this piecing speak.. :thumbup:

    I can't wait to do one. It is on my list to make one this year. Along with countless other patterns. Yours looks wonderful and I love those colors!

    just let everyone know that is a great tutorial on Quilters t.v. it helped me understand the ins and out of this pattern On my to do list .

    I bought the material for the backing yesterday, planning to assemble and start quilting today, but I got called in to work :( I guess I'll start it tonight,then.
