    I wanted to learn the OBW but when I put these blocks side by side they were way to busy. I was trying to place them and the blocks made me feel sick, lol. So I put the black in to calm it down.

    I like it. I think the black (it's appearing black no my monitor anyway) sets it off nicely.

    I lke the black background as it lets you focus on the prints. Pretty design!

    I can see what you meant, but they look gorgeous on the black and really pop. Great thinking.

    Thanks! I am some what pleased with the effect. Been trying to post the fabric, Don't ask me how I got that in my stash??? Not a fabric I would pick and buy for sure!

    Great job!!! I did the same thing with one of my OBW's as it was way too busy without the black.
