    Default "Red" to the rescue

Our Grand daughter announced wedding plans at Easter, and I knew a quilt was in order, but knowing I really didn't have time to do a new project justice, I selected one that I had done because it was made with my mother in mind who loved red. This grand daughter's first child (previous marriage) is named after my mom, and when I checked the label I saw that I had pieced it with our grand daughters 221 featherweight...which I have already given her. Sooo that was the quilt she needed to have, but usually I make a bag to gift it in....looked through my upcoming projects and found this bag kit, and knew it was the "right" thing. Love it when a plan comes together...had plenty of time to do the bag, and she is more than thrilled with it. Love the job as the quilting grandmother..
