    Default Red Roses Stack-and-whack

Finally got the quilt top put together, and I decided to bring it down to the shop today to store it here ('cause there are no cats to shed on it here). To my delight, Penny stopped in today. She's one of our favorite customers, and we (the gals at the shop) hired her to teach us how to do a stack-and-whack last spring. And she was so happy to be able to see what my quilt top looked like, all finished.

It turned out to be quite a bit bigger than I had thought it would.

The little red cornerstones have musical notes on them. So it ties in with the black-and-white notes that are used as a border.

It is really pretty. The bright colors on the white background really pop. Thanks for sharing.

I think it's just beautiful. I really want to do one, especially after I see quilts like yours.
