    Holy moley! That's gorgeous! There's so much detail and work in it, I'm not sure how you are still sane lol. This quilt would look good on the couch or on the wall.

    Very nice patriotic quilt!! I found a pattern for a quilt for Coast Guard so I plan to make it for my SIL as a retirement gift. Thank goodness I have a couple of years left to collect fabrics and get going on it

    No, I come from a long line of military service, and I work for the Navy as well. It was just a pattern I thought would look nice in these colors. I will probably hold on to it until I feel the need to give it to the family of someone who is serving overseas. I have given away three other patriotic quilts over the years and I know the children treasure them while their parent is gone.
