What a wonderful accomplishment. It reminds me so much of redwork embroidery---I love the way all the red fabrics work together. You should be proud of yourself!

Thank you for the warm welcome!

Unfortunately, I've failed to take photos of my work. I'll have to borrow them from the people that I've given them to. But, in the future I'll be sure to snap a photo. Currently I have several works in progress, one of which is for one of my grandson's. He picked out the fabric (motorcycles and race cars) so we'll see how it goes. Hopefully, I'll finish it before Christmas, along with a couple of others that I have started. Wish me luck!

Azam and I attend the same church, and with our husbands, we camp, dine and watch movies together. She's a great friend, and obviously a great teacher of quilting. She is currently teaching another friend of ours to quilt, and it is going very well!! Thank you, Annie, and the Lord bless you for passing on this wonderful craft to me and others. :-o :-P

I found the pattern. It is in the March/April 2007 Quiltmaker magazine. She didn't give instructions on how to strip piece, but it's not hard to figure it out. One warning - be really careful when trimming to 12" blocks - I did a couple wrong, and I had to resew on one whole part to fix it.
