    My DGD called last week and said she "Needed" another quilt and she wanted red and black. I used machine embroidered blocks leftover from other quilts. Since I had lots of 3" black and white strips leftover from other projects, I just put them together . I hope she'll like it, at least she will know I listened to her.

    I just went thru my scraps, did some embroidery work and
    right before your eyes, a Darling quilt emerges!!! :shock:

    Very nice. I have some redwork blocks waiting to be put into a quilt. So many ideas, but nothing that really sings to me yet. Do like what you have done here & it's quick, simple & done. Now that's my kind of quilt. Especially since the block took weeks to complete.
