    Thanks to all for the kind words and advise. I won't dye it.
    I think I'll experiment on some embroidered blocks using unbleached muslin and see how that looks. It's nice to have guidance from you all. Thanks again, Mary

    That will work, my late Mother would work on unbleached muslin and it endures a long time.

    Please don't dye it. Unbleached muslin works great-just seems to go with the redwork. This is beautiful.
