    I just finished my first quilt of the new year. It's machine embroidered redwork children, quilted on my Tin Lizzie. My neighbor and I were discussing wheather or not I should tea dye it. What do you think, dye or no dye? TIA for any advise.

    I wd never tea dye it! It's beautiful in its striking red-and-white glory! Nice job! :thumbup: :D

    Looks great, I wouldn't tea dye it either...you would maybe lose the effect of the redwork.

    That is a wonderful quilt. You've got hours and hours invested in this project. I'm quite sure you are already aware of that. I agree that I wouldn't dye this quilt. Let it age naturally.
