    That's a perfect choice! The border design copies the palm tree trunks.

    PERFECT CHOICE!! How happy you must be that you opened you thoughts to something different. I get "stuck" in a thought mode and sometimes don't think to look outside that mode but you did and it really paid off.

    This is a wonderful border. It looks like the border was as much work as the quilt! I am a new quilter and have never done anything other than a plain straight piece of fabric border, in fact I didn't even know they had border books. How on earth do you finish all those little points on the edge? Oh my gosh, and those mitered corners! I think this is way way way over my head. It is beautiful.
