I have some--not the right one--but I know exactly where to get them. I will take the 3rd border option to Patchwork Plus and compare to others--then I'll know for sure. There's one fabric in the quilt that's a huge favorite of mine, but I'm out. I've looked everywhere for it--but many of these fabrics are ones I've had for years.

I love the colorful quilt you have there. Log cabin is one of the next quilts after I finish 3 baby quilts, that I am going to try. I love what you can do with the Log Cabin pattern.
    Looks Beautiful.

Karla, I'm in AWE!!! I loved it when you were posting pics of it in progress, but this exceeds thought......I also like the third choice, but would add a thin solid first.....

    Just gorgeous, Karla!

I've been cleaning/sorting for days...well, weeks...and have a bag of fabrics I'm getting rid of. I'll trade you it for the top?

No? Oh well, it was a wish. Log cabins have always been my favorite.

If you are looking for fabrics that are "older" you might try Hoover's - many of their fabrics, while LQS brands - are ones that have been discontinued. And for the price, they can't be beat. You just have to be prepared to take them over to the door or window to see in natural lighting.

I didn't see anywhere, did you do this for you and Mark, or for somebody else? It really is beautiful.

I don't think I've ever seen a cabin with different width strips. that is gorgeous. I'm not sure how it gets to be square I'll have to look at it closer. Now you've made me think about collecting flower fabric so I can do that I have lots of the light stuff.

Oh, she's saving that quilt for me when I come to visit.
    She'll have to make a decision...Rosie or the quilt. LOL! :) :) :)
