Remember those little red & green blocks?

Well, this is what happened to them.
I know you saw Yvonne's BEAUTIFUL blue, white, and red quilt she sent off to our Naomi earlier this month: http://www.quiltingboard.com/posts/list/2994.page
This is Auntie Marcella's contribution to the same charity auction.
I mailed it on the Monday before Thanksgiving, and my darling niece received it that Wednesday (whew!) It does give a person pause to launch a quilt off into the postal system.
And now I reckon all we can do is wait and see who adopts them. And try to catch up on all the COOL blocks we missed while we assembled these guys.

It is mostly machine-quilted on my trusty old Singer, but I did try a bit of hand-quilting. I knew I was sending the quilt away and wouldn't have to live with my mistakes!
