    Thank you for all your positive responses. Unfortunately my friend has passed away. We didn't live near each other, so didn't meet often, but talked on the phone frequently. I miss talking to her.

    Great Quilt! If you were a kid in the 70's smiley faces rocked! I remember my sister had a sweatshirt with a bunch of small plastic smiley faces on it....It's amazing I remember that shirt so vividly for some reason :-)
