    For those of you who have asked questions about the room (and thank you all for your comments) it is over our garage, about 550 square feet. My husband made the sewing cabinets for me a few years ago using stock pre-finished bathroom cabinets from Lowe's. He measured and had the formica countertops made to pull the whole thing together and provide sewing tables at the right height. The shelving is inexpensive unfinished storage shelving that we bought unassembled and put together. And, yes, it's a lovely space to work in and a great retreat. I'm glad you all like it. As to the grandson, I can't say enough good about him. And, yes, he gets the next quilt!
