    Default Renaissance Quilt

I wanted to use my Silhouette Cameo cutter to do some appliqué as these old hands aren’t as nimble as they once were. Cutting out the pieces was a breeze! I’ve already started another appliqué quilt using the Silhouette. I used fusible web for the appliqué & then stitched around each piece with gold metallic thread. I stippled the quilt on my trusty home machine with monofilament thread.

The fabric came from a block of the month program at http://www.stitchinheaven.com, which sent generous cuts for 3-4 blocks each month. The pattern is from Michele Hill.
