    It looks great machine quilted! Beautiful workmanship! If a family member can't hand quilt an old family quilt top what good does it add to the quilt to have a stranger hand quilt it?

    Just unreal. The quilting is amazing. The feathers in the green swags - oh, oh, oh. I hand quilt exclusively - but I'm ready to start sending you finished tops to do for me. Absolutely beautiful!

    I think you did a good job of rescuing this family heirloom. I have no issues with machine quilting an old quilt if it makes it hold together better and lay better.
