There is a great pattern in the new Quick Quilts mag (Mar 09) for fabrics with a big print and you don't want to chop them up. I thought it would be perfect for the Snow Show fabric I've been dying to get but just couldn't bring myself to pay full price for. So...I had the perfect excuse to go shopping!!! I went to the Ben Franklin in Winterset since I knew they had that line. Kinda funny, they had part of the fabs from that line on sale and the other half was still full price. ???? Anyway, this time it didn't stop me.

Here's the Snow Show that I loved since I first seen it a couple months ago!!! Love those snowmen!!!

After picking out the snowmen....things went down hill. I kinda went overboard! In my own defence, only 2 from Snow Show and one of the Penguins were full price. The rest were 50% off!!!

Here are some cute little penguins.

The white I plan on using in the blue/white block swap. The bottom right is a panel and I got the green above it to go with.

Very nice. I really like the blue fabric with the bird print in the first photo.

That is my kind of therapy!!!
I love the material you picked! Great minds think alike because I have only about three of the exact same fabric! I love snowmen and fell in love right away! I am excited to see the finished product! Keep us posted!

I wish I could and still get a paycheck. I guess I'll just have to sew evenings and weekends.

Beautiful choices.......Isn't it fun? I have already spent my Christmas $ (gift from my DS) at Thousands of Bolts. I love sales and with this winter weather really in the mood to sit and sew. We all need retail therapy. Frankly, I can't get enough!
