    I have made QAYG several times. I love the ease of quilting the squares.
    Your is beautiful, both quilting and colors.

    it is gorgeous! But, no, I don't use that technique and could NEVER do what you did no matter what method I was using to quilt.

    The entire technique could be done by machine, but I prefer to sew the sashing on the back by hand. This makes all the machine stitching extremely easy to do, because at all the times, while stitching, the quilt is positioned to the left of the needle; the whole quilt rests on the table and nothing goes under the arm. This is extremely helpful if your machine has a small space under the arm.
