    i love the delectable mountains pattern! and i recognized it right away! just beautiful, and so personal! glad i'm not one of the daughters as i'd be heartbroken not to get it!

    You did a good job on both sides.
    I have made a few commission quilts and keep saying I won't do any more. I think they always seem harder than ones I make all the choices on. I am about to start another "request" quilt. I offered to make a comfort quilt for a friend's High School senior who was just diagnosed with a really nasty cancer. The father said, "Please have footballs and basketballs on it." (The boy was on both teams until he got sick.) Fortunately for me, another member of this board recently shared the perfect pattern.
