K...I had a Chatty Cathy when I was growing up. Mom and Dad bought her for me, but she just stayed in my room. I was too busy beating up the boys and taking their trucks! lol

It's hung above the door to my sewing room, to inspire me every time I go in there! :D

LMAO! I had dolls AND tools etc. I used to help Mum in the kitchen AND Dad in the garage; only child so had to be both son and daughter! But it widens your skill base! :D

Rhonda - re the other blocks, I did work them out myself EVENTUALLY! LOL!

As for EQ - I don't have it so I just made a few blocks then shifted them around on my design wall til a layout started to emerge that I liked then made other appropriate blocks to complete it.

Sometimes I think I am just plain slow!!! I had a template with the angle on it that I had made to make those blocks with. That is why I never struggled with them. It is the same angle but you don't sew on the other swatch. I will need to remember this for the next time. Thanks for pointing this out to me!!

LOL Rhonda - yes, I guess it WOULD be easier with a template! Still it gave my brain some exercise!

Thank you Rhonda yeah! (get her out of my head!)

Sorry been wanting to do that for ages - it was number one (the day I was born apparently! I'm sure it's not the first time you heard it!

Every time I hear that song I think that's my song! But if you listen to the lyrics it isn't very flattreing to Rhonda! He is turning to her to forget his lost love! She is second best.

But it has my name!!!!  I still love the song. :D

at least there is a song with your name and there is no song with my name. no, not butterflywing. barbara actually, there are two. both practically unknown. and none for butterflywing either.
