    Default Ribbon Box Baby Quilt

I started this over a month ago, but chemo slows me down, so not the quickest finish for a good friend of my DD. In my defense, we also had our DD's wedding in June and the recipient was three weeks early in her delivery of a sweet baby girl on June 24. LOL

Please forgive my memory, but someone on the board posted this quilt previously, and I liked it so much I downloaded the free directions, based on her lovely work, so thank you. The PDF download can be found here: http://145578867.r.lightningbase-cdn...nBoxQuilt1.pdf

The fabrics I chose supposedly match the nursery of grays and pinks, but are mostly in the "Anne of Green Gables" line by Penny Rose Fabrics. The quilt finishes at 55" x 63", so a good sized floor quilt. The whippet on the back is just a personal touch as they partner a championship fly ball team of whippet dogs, and have numerous fur babies as well. Hope you enjoy!

That turned out beautifully. Don't apologize for it taking a while to complete. It sounds like you had good reason. I just finished a UFO that I started in 2012. It's a good thing it wasn't for a baby!

I had this design on my "to do" list but forgot all about it until I saw your post. Your quilt turned out great! Love the color combinations and you did a fabulous job arranging those colors in the quilt. Great baby quilt that will be treasured for years I am sure.
Hope your treatments will make life better for you in the months and years ahead.

An absolutely charming and lovely quilt! Thanks so much for the link. I've printed the directions and am already planning which fabrics to use.

What a beautiful quilt!! I love the Anne of Green Gables fabrics and want to buy some. Loved the story since I was a child.
Hope you're feeling better and better !!!
