    Default Ribbon Box Quilt Quilted

I am so happy with this quilt that I’d like to do one in a baby size but not sure how to alter the pattern. So any hints how to go about that?
That’s another matter, Cloud9 patterns are so well written! And Beatrice quilted this one perfectly.

Love the subtlety of it ...
goes to prove not every quilt has to be jump-at-you bold to be a great quilt!

Pretty quilt. To reduce the size, could you make each of the strips narrower? I'm a beginner quilter here, but it was just my first thought. I'm sure someone with more experience will give a surer explanation.

Very pretty quilt. Lovely colors. For a baby size, you could either stop at four vertical ribbons and maybe five horizontal ones or you could make your ribbons narrower.

    Very pretty!
Another way to reduce the size is to remove some of the strips from the center of the pattern, both horizontally and vertically. Just keep the strips around the four sides and as much middle as you need.

Very pretty and such subdued colors in your fabrics. I think the other members gave you some good ideas on how to reduce the pattern for a baby quilt.

I agree with Tish that making narrower ribbons would help keep it proportional.
