    I would go with out or a fine thin border the thick takes away from your fantastic tree.

    I vote for a thin ring, maybe with a little more room between the ring and the tree.

    I love the tree and all it stands for. I would not use a ring. Without being enclosed by the ring, it gives the impression (to me) that the tree of life continues without boundaries.

    Well said. An outside border of a similar color would be best - only if you wanted to add more color - regardless, the tree is beautiful.

    the ring makes it appear more " finished" I love the frame, it really highlights the tree
