    I am sorry for your loss. The quilt is lovely. I was expecting to see rings when I read the name of the quilt. The pattern is beautiful! The name that came to my mind when I ready about your story was...I love you to pieces!

    I am sorry about the loss of you life partner of 51 years. But, your have stepped forward in a positive way in finishing your beautiful quilt. It is a healing process because you enjoyed your hobby and he had been an encourager. Be comforted.

    Carol, I didn't know you lost your husband. I'm so sorry.
    Glad you're keeping this quilt. It's gorgeous but especially your reasons for keeping it.

    So sorry for your loss, but keeping busy with your hands and memories are the best way to move forward. I know you will find comfort in this gorgeous quilt.
