    Default Ringo Lake finally finished

This has been a difficult quilt to finish as my husband of 51 years passed away shortly after starting it and it was set aside for a few months. However I've found much healing when I picked it back up and finally finish it. I've grown to like it much more than anticipated and now plan to keep it for myself as a reminder of him and our wonderful years together.

Beautiful finish. So sorry to hear of your husband but when you wrap up in this quilt you can feel his presence.

Sometimes it is helpful to keep our hands and minds busy in order to remember everything we have, to be grateful for. Bonnie Hunter does a wonderful job at this. Your quilt is stunning and I love the flange binding.

It's beautiful, Carol. I was quilting on mine today. Lots of quilting...

I've been wondering how you have been doing since your husband's death. It's good to see you post.
