Road to CA Quilt Show 2011

Quilters, I'm glad that all of you got to enjoy the quilt show with me!
I only put a tiny sample of the quilts on this thread. There were so many quilts. Just breath taking, some with Sparkles, some plain, some done all my hand, so very inspirational!!

Thanks so much for bringing the quilt show to us  They are all truly works of art. I love the Snowman (in circles) quilt, loved the Venice Gondola with all the masks on the left wall and I love, love, love the Tea Quilt!!! I have seen it online before and would love to get a chance to see it in person! But the one that really tugged at my heartstrings was the mom holding the baby and the "Negro" quilt. That one really stopped me in my tracks. I hope to one day see that one in person also. Thanks again for taking the time to do this for us and I have it bookmarked so I can revisit it!

Thank you Marie for taking all of these pictures. I was there Thursday and Friday but I forgot to bring my camera from home.
"one of your favorites" was my absolute favorite---the quilt about having tea...can't remember the name.
What a fantastic show!

I was there Sat. too. You did a great job with the photos. I loved the winter scene with the crows...the picture doesn't show the sparkle that is had. I spent way too much money also. It wasn't as crowded as last year either.
