here is my finished quilt. I am happy the way it came out except for the back. when stitching straight lines and have to stop and start how do you keep the ends showing, did you back stitch and cut threads. I can see where I started and stopped need some suggestions so my starting and stopping places don't show. Thanks for any and all suggestions if you know where I can look please tell me. Thank you for looking

I am relatively new to machine quilting and so far have only done straight line quilting. I've tried both ways of starting and stopping, and I have a definite preference. Backstitching and clipping the threads SHOWS. A lot. I don't do it anymore at all. I think leaaving long threads and pulling up the bobbin thread is far better. The threads can then be tied and buried.
