This quilt is pictured on the cover of "Great American Quilts 1995" Publisher Oxmoor House. Pattern is in the book along with a lot of other good patterns.

The pattern that I used came out of the "Scrap Quilts Galore book, from Oxmoor House. It has 12 easy to make quilts, full size patterns and complete step-by-step instructions. This quilt is on the line of Drunkard's path with an extra piece or two. I hand quilted the entire quilt, but left the "Roads" not quilted. A fun quilt to make and the photo in the book shows a little boy sitting in the middle of the quilt playing with his cars and trucks. ~~Ann~~

I love it. My first thought was of matchbox cars following your roads.
