    Great find! I would at least clean and seal the wood where your "treasures" would go. Taking it further I would also paint the wood to match the white. After that you would not need to find shoe boxes to fit those little cubbies.

    Even in shoe boxes, I am sure you can fill each one with a separate color of FQ's or something similar. What a great find!

    I agree, it's wonderful. I also agree with either painting or shelf papering (Contact or whatever brand - self stick) so you could put other things in it.
