Don't think that sounded dumb at all Donna. I have had to learn to talk to Maybe1day...after all she is an Aussie and they have their own language sometime...we were in the same round robin last year and Maybe1day is a wonderful lady and fantastic quilter. We are really lucky to have her with us again for this round robin. This year will be a real challenge for all of us...we seeem to all have a different style of quilting...will be interesting to watch the progression of the centers...BUT we all know they have a life of their own!!!

Kathleen, you asked if the pink triangle was part of a star, no it wasn't... i just wanted to add some pink in there to balance the pink corners... so i satin stitched it into place... thanks for asking though :)

OK, Linda.... here is what I am thinking about adding to your little man. The X is to represent the X on his chest uniform. I can't decide whether to use all green or to put white in between. Let me know what you think?? I haven't decided on the corners yet. I am on standby.

    Blessings!

Wow Carole little man is growing up. Love the ideas you have. I'm happy with whichever way you choose to go. Great idea with the green. When I saw it I thought it toned down the red and brought out his cuffs. I have another eight of these to do, although only two more are fused down.
I could b making little marching men forever. You girls have such wonderful idea.

    Jacquie:
Kay’s center was shipped off today!! The USPS Customs #LC945851957US. I had it ready to be shipped last week, but time got away from me and I never could get to the post office. Oh well, it is officially on its way now!!!!

    Blessings!

Carole I like the ideas that are flowing from you for Linda’s top, have to say the all green looks much nicer IMHO as the white seems to detract a little from the design of the white pinwheel (could be a placement issue).

Linda, sounds like your on a “soldier benda”

Everyone else, sorry but no centre to work on and keep me occupied over here so I feel free to comment on all and sundry for now :P

    Cheers
    Kathleen

Carole I also like the green without the white strip in it.
By the way your beauty is being very quiet with me. I love all the little flying cuties you have on there...hmmmm.
