    Hi Jacquie,
I have completed your centre (at last) after running out of time and needing to call a halt while I made some cakes for a wedding yesterday. I also had to prepare for a community BBQ in the evening and so I was flat tack most of the past week. My poor sewing machine was feeling quite neglected I can tell you.

Anyway with all the who ha lately over where all the centres are and who is going to take on what, I have no idea where I should be sending this onto. Kay has been very quiet and seems to be MIA so would someone PM me and tell me what is actually going on?

Seems my own centre is winging it's way closer to home as we must be about half way through now surely?

Linda's little drummer is certainly looking very good and will be such a delight for a little boy to cuddle up to. Well done so far, your all doing such a grand job.

    Cheers
Kathleen (who hopes life is going to finally settle down for awhile now)

ohh kathleen, i'm sorry you've had a 'mad wee while' there!! there's nothing worse than having to sew under pressure!
i can't wait to see what you've done with my center!
we will wait and see where it's headed next!

Oh Jacquie thanks for the commiserations. I deliberately didn't go near my sewing machine all week even when I did have 1/2 an hour free because I knew there was potential for me to stress out about anything that went wrong for me on the day. Have not been sewing under pressure at all, baking under pressure, well that is another issue altogether. LOL

    Default Kay's Round 4

It was tough following that beautiful scalloped border...so I kept it simple and in the same colors! My daughter borrowed my camera for Spring break, so please excuse the washed out cell ph pic! It really is a vibrant, beautiful quilt!

Well...finally I like it! I did some more work on the corners because I didn't like the way I did it the first time. My problem was I didn't want to over power the scalloped border....it is so beautiful. I just tried to keep my round simple and in the same color theme. Hope you still like it. I will mail it tomorrow!
