tucsonquilter the fabric is not plush it is a batik. I thought it looked kind of furry too.
quiltsRfun, I am slow as molasses but hope to finish up before the end of april. I will post it when I get it quilted.
thimblebug6000, the pillow is done with edge turned applique and I machine stitched it with a zig-zag. I really enjoy doing that but like I said I work pretty slow. I decided that if I wanted to get the quilt done before the babies 5th birthday I had better switch to fused applique for it. I am doing a zig-zag on the pieces though not a straight stitch.
I am collecting fabrics for the zoo one as well, so adorable!
