    Ooh, that's really pretty. I must confess, I've saved the pattern clues, but really wanted to see this one done before I commit. Nicely done. I'll be interested to see how you quilt it, too. Have fun and thanks for sharing. :thumbup:

    JeanieG - as I said before I think your quilt is gorgeous and I've been looking at alot of them on the yahoo groups. I think one of the things that makes it stand out in your little red squares in the center of your string blocks. I know this would be a simple thing to create for an experienced quilter but since I'm not, I would love it if you would do a tutorial on this step. I'm a very visual person and I've been thinking about how to do it and I keep drawing blanks. Would you consider doing this?

    PS: I'm not a fan of overall quilting either, just for the reasons you stated.
