Yes, I'm thinking of stitch in the ditch too, with maybe a loop in each section of the strings. Think I'll sit on it for a while. I'm just so pleased with how it turned out.

It was done in 8 lessons. Each week we got an instruction sheet for that week. Some were quite easy - some like the string blocks were easy, but took a long time to finish. If I had seen the quilt before I made it, I would have say "no way", but because it was a mystery we had no clue how it would turn out. I got behind during Christmas, and am slower than a lot of the people who made the quilt. Many were finished within a week or so of the last instruction sheet.

It sure looks like it's worth it. it's fantastic.
Yes some of the amounts were amazing, the most being the 600 HST for that border.

Thanks so much for all the kind comments on my quilt. I really enjoyed the challenge, and will definitely make another mystery when Bonnie comes out with one! Here I thought I was so far behind, and many of you have not finished it yet either. I am looking forward to seeing the pictures of your RRCB quilt when you finish them.

You did a beautiful job, hope you enjoyed the process. I don't think I could be rushed to finish "on time" either.
