Default Rolling Star and Irish chain together

My beautiful GD graduates from high school in May, so I made her a quilt and matching throw. She designed this quilt herself on my EQ7 when she was here this summer. I'm a newbie--just one year of quilting, but I have 50+ years of sewing. All of the fabrics were from my stash of recycled quilting fabrics. I also made her a pillow sham and a big zippered bag to hold her extra blankets, pillows, etc.

She will love it! How cool that she designed it herself. This will be a lifelong treasure!

Wow! Pretty and nice job! That 50+ years of sewing is showing! GD will be happy! You're already a "Pro" in my book!
