    Smile Roomy tote bag

I took a tote bag class taught by a member of our guild. It measures about 15" wide by 13" high.

I used Bosal foam vs. quilt batting to stipple quilt the flower fabric. I found the foam created a firmer outer bag than when I used quilt batting. It is hard to see the quilting on the flower fabric print.

For the outer blue pockets, I used an extra firm fusible from Pellon, called Peltex. Fyi: I found the extra-firm fusible made it difficult to pull the bag body through the lining hole. It did however create a stiff and sturdy tote bag.

I plan to carry this tote to quilt shows and fill it with quilty treasures!

You did a great job with the bag. Pretty colors. The turning of the bag seems like it is always the hardest. Enjoy the shows!

Your stitching is so nice and straight and I love your fabric choices and the quilting just makes it. Great job!! You will by styling carrying that bag.
