I love your apron. I used that fabric for one but didn't see the sunflower fabric to go with it. I got my fabric at Wal Mart before they downsized their fabric department here in Marysville, WA. I guess we are just lucky to still have some fabric here--so many complained when they were going to take it out completely they changed their minds.

linda-k. i found this fabric at a walmart in branson, mo that was discontinuing fabric. :( the sunflower fabric was right next to the rooster fabric. thats the only way i knew they went together.
we still have a few walmarts here that sell fabric. i wonder if our stores still carry fabric because we have a large amish population and they buy lots of fabric. i also wonder if walmart discontinued fabric most everywhere because the labor costs associated with the fabric dept are too high. having to have a clerk there all the time to cut fabric.
i wonder about a lot of things. lol

We have 3 super centers within 10 miles here in Hburg, two still have fabric one is closing the dept in Jauary. The stores are putting in more electronics. The sales girl told me that she heard from the home office they want to be more like Targets.
I told her if I want to shop at Target I'd go across the hwy.
Walmart decided to close thier fabic depts after Mrs. Walton died. We have a quilt shop and a Hancock fabrics left in this town.
