    It just appears that you are looking "out the window" to see them! Quilt some light lines around them to look like they are outside the window and viola'....a whole 'nother perspective! LOL! They are so bright and colorful, great job!

    i would just applique a roost bar for them to be sitting on if it really bothers you...

    but i like it just the way it is...this pattern is probably way too advanced for me but i really like it...

    Great job ! I never would have known the difference if you hadn't mentioned it. The roosters are beautiful and well done. If it bothers you, call it flying roosters. Their feet are not always on the ground.
