    Default Roosters in the Round

Hey everyone, it’s been a while since I have posted aquilt. This one is by far the mostdifficult one I have pieced. When I got a new kitchen table that was round, myold tablecloth did not work very well with it.I had an excuse to make a new one! I’ve been using red and black for awhile and I like it well enough that I didn’t want to change. I have someroosters in my kitchen and some rooster yardage in my stash so I was on a roll…My DS loaned me her templates for a Giant Dahlia. We didn’t have a pattern, just the templates and we googled a picture of what it should look like.I must say, I’m pleased with the result.I’m anxious to wash it to soften it up a bitand give it that ‘crinkly’ quilt look.I’vebeen using quilts on my table for years.I always tell people that it protects my beautiful wooden table, but it’sreally just cause I like looking at it!

Wow, that is wonderful--the back as well as the front. Looks right at home on your table.

Oh, so pretty. I, too, collect roosters but haven't made a table cloth.....yet. You have inspired me.

Love it! And thank you for posting it on the table. It really gives a much better perspective of the size.

Very nice. I like how you quilted it. You'd better get one of those clear plastic covers to put on it.
