    ​Thank you all for your kind comments. Now I just need to figure out what backing fabric to use ... to tie or not to tie? Double batting or no? Decisions, decisions!

    It is such a beautiful rose quilt, just like you are in a rose garden. It reminds me of the roses in some old plates that my Grandmother had and I was lucky enough to get them when she passed away. Thanks for posting.

    I too have trouble making those points always come out as points. What's the secret? Some of mine are perfect and some are not. Why? I cut the same and always use 1/4 " seam. Illsa

    Thank goodness you did not retain pointy points; softening the look is so much better, rounding off like the rose petals in the prints. good job.
