Judith - you can send when you are ready. I have a very organized house so no chance of loosing it along with my mind LOL
I may have to rethink what I was doing for you - DH gave it a poor review. Waiting to hear from the others in this group with quilter opinions then I will decide for certain.

I'm not worried Paula, I'm sure it will be great when you figure out the direction you want to go. Sorry hubby wasn't on board with your first try.
I hate to say, My mom kind of gave me grief on my first round also. So we compromised and I love how it came together. I hope Jillnjo does also. And, I photographed it, it helps me to step back and view it in a different way. I will let you know when I send it on to you. Like you, I also try to stay very organized. I am not a fan of misplacing something. You know, a place for everything and everything in its own place. (Yes, hand raised, I do have a few OCD moments. lol)

I notice, too, how looking at a picture of a block really helps me to see more clearly what I like or don't like about it. I think I need to take a picture of the doll quilt I pieced-something bugs me about it, but I guess I'll just go with it! I don't want to get "more bugged" and have to rip!
I'm sure I will love what you added to my center, Judith. I am realizing that I like to do quilts and blocks with other people! I have a small pile of swapped blocks and love to look at them, but haven't made a quilt yet! I love selecting a block pattern and pulling some fabric and seeing what I can create-then sending it off to a friend.
Tam-moo, I saw that you are joining the row robin here on the board! You are going to be busy this winter! I will be watching to see what everyone chooses. I think a row robin would be fun, too.
I like order around me and my hubby likes it even more, which I think amazes my daughters. They both have hubbys that can make a mess and walk around it cheerfully-so guesss who gets to pick it up! Aren't we so like the home we were raised in? My MIL is queen-of-clean to a point that drove me crazy, but I live with her every day-I sometimes call him "Lois" instead of the name she gave him! I shouldn't complain, all in all, it has been a blessing to our family.
I have apples from our tree to make sauce with soon, I'm tired of canning and freezing, but get to enjoy it all winter. My mom is 91 and she still cans for herself! Not much, but I guess she does what she has always done, and it keeps her feeling perky! Enjoy the coming week end, all!

jillnjo you are lucky to live with other "orderly" people. My DH is the king of "where did I put it" but I have learned to live with it as long as it is HIS stuff and not mine that goes missing. LOL
and no - he is not allowed in my sewing room!

Jillnjo, I am totally enjoying the block swaps also. I am signing up to join the Monthly quilting bee swap also. I thought it would be fun. And, I truly love and enjoy the themed swap block swaps also. I just need to actually finish a quilt top from one of them. I'm working on my Good Ol' Summertime swap blocks right now. It's a lot like playing tetrus. I still have some moving around on them a little. (I also think I need to add in just a couple extra blocks.) But, I'm not sure yet.
Tam Moo, I thought about joining the row robin also. But, I really stress myself if I take on too much. So, I decided to save that for next year. But, You'll have to share the link for your group. I'd love to see how your row grows.
How are yall doing? Are you making progress with your centers. I will be pulling Yayaquilts center out next week to do a little sketching and decide on my border. I just LOVE red*white*blue. I made my son a patchwork RWB quilt for his bed. It was one of my first LARGE quilts. And, I quilted it and didn't even realize I'd put the backing bottom of the fabric on top. lol, It wouldn't have mattered if the fabric hadn't been directional. Yep, it was definitely a DOH' moment. Lesson learned. NO directional fabric for backings. lol It was all finished before I realized my mistake. (He loves it anyway.)
I promise, scouts honor, NO border shall be put on upside down. lol
Hope your all having a good weekend.

Oh, holy cow! I was just (last thursday at Guild) talking about the dream of participating in a Round Robin......I have an idea of how to start one. I had thought that One quilter started One center and passed it along....It seems that each quilter does a center and sends it along the choosen path.....I am inspired... Thanks to much....Bless Quilters All
