Okay. This isn't a good picture. It's been folded up all night and not pressed and is outdoors and isn't good light.

The better picture is on my mom's camera, pressed and indoors in better light and I'll update you all on that next weekend.

But, for now, here is the general idea.

Edit: There's only one thing I can say about this:

    COLOR is our friend. :D

I'm glad you like it. I rather like how it's turning out too. You can't tell from the picture, but the border in there is pink with gold flecks in it. I forgot to get the precise dimensions, but it's roughly 47.5 by 50+ inches.

Actually, I can't remember. Somewhere in that range. It's well into its "fifties" now.

You may not have been able to tell from the pictures before, but those dark diamonds aren't black, they're a deep rich olive green.

Well I guess that is really good, have a great time. You gave away an awful lot...... but I made some super log cabins for my quilt. Cheers Terri

I didn't give all that much. Just some here and there. And none that I gave would have matched either because I have some of it still here! lol

THere are 2 Ben Franklin's in Hawaii (Oahu) and 1 here in Guam.
There used to be a Woolworth's in Hawaii, but it closed back in 97.

Alrighty! After spending WAY too much money and 2 hours at Ben Frankin's, I THINK I found some fabric that will go nicely with the square. Not sure I'm going to make any sort of designer type border, maybe just a plain border will do and then Imaquilter can wrack her brains on it. lmao

I really do need to make this one an easy border. I have to get these Sunbonnet Sue quilts done by next week. Hoping to get a hop into Japan. Then home for a week, then off to Hong Kong for a week. Won't have any sewing time

Terri, sounds like we have the same disese--fabricitis! Never, never enough fabric, no matter how much we have--just doesn't match! I am doing a scrappy border this time and thankfully, I have lots and lots of scraps. Funny, though, I wracked my brain 2 weeks on the other one and knew right away what pattern I was doing for this one! Maybe I am finally learning what I am doing :!: :D :D :D :D
